Returns & Refunds Policy


At FancyThat Gifts Ltd we are determined to go to every length to ensure that you are a happy customer. Every item is inspected before being individually packaged and shipped. We are therefore confident that all goods will arrive in perfect condition at your door. Should this not happen we offer a ‘Returns and Refunds Service’.

Before you request the return of a product, please ensure you have read through our returns policy.

Returns Process:
1. Email using our Contact Form. We will then email back a Returns Authorisation Code within 24 hours. If ordering through Amazon or Ebay please follow the returns process on their websites.
2. Complete the Returns Form below so we can process your return correctly. Again if ordering through Amazon or Ebay please follow the returns procedures as per their websites.
3. Put your item(s) into a protective box or other suitable protective packaging and post to the returns address below. Don’t forget to enclose the returns form!
*Please note: If you return your item without the Returns Authorisation Code or appropriate paperwork then the processing of your return will inevitably be delayed. Terms and conditions may vary for customers who have purchased via Amazon & Ebay. If in doubt the customer should refer to those websites.

Returns Policy For Non-Faulty Goods

If you have had a change of heart you must return the item to FancyThat Gifts Ltd unused and in its original condition within 14 days, this is extended to 30 days for Amazon & Ebay customers and starts from the day after the delivery has been received. Each returned product must include all parts, accessories, instructions and packaging, etc. This includes items such as cable ties and plug covers.

You will only pay for the postage cost of returning the goods. For more expensive items we advise that you use a secure delivery method such as ‘Recorded or Special Delivery’ which requires a signature on receipt, as this insures the package in case it goes missing. The product will remain your responsibility until it has been signed for at the returns address. We will not under any circumstances accept responsibility for products lost or damaged in the post. Conditions may vary for customers who have purchased through Amazon & Ebay, if in doubt customers should refer to the Amazon or Ebay websites.



Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on the following non-faulty products:

  • The products(s) has/have been personalised, made to order or customised in any way.
  • The product(s) is/are perishable. (Includes Air Fresheners)
  • The non-faulty product does not arrive at FancyThat in a resalable condition. In this case we will not be able to offer you a refund. We will   contact you to arrange for the product to be returned to you and to take payment for any associated delivery costs.
  • The product(s) are toiletries or are hygiene sensitive items such as a pet beds, earrings or underwear etc.


 For Faulty Goods

If the product you have ordered is faulty you have 14 days, this is extended to 30 days for Amazon & Ebay customers; in which to return it. Parcels or items damaged in transit must be verbally reported to FancyThat before 3.00pm the next working day following delivery, and also by email within 3 days. When returning faulty items we may still ask you to return goods yourself. In this instance keep the receipt and FancyThat will reimburse the costs incurred*. FancyThat will only pay you a reasonable* postage amount for the return of the product. Normally we ask that goods are sent back via Royal Mail (Recorded Delivery) however there may be a necessity on certain items for us to arrange to a collection via a courier.

*Again we reiterate the need to obtain a proof of postage costs so we can reimburse you the full amount.

*Please note that by reasonable we mean any delivery service equivalent to the cost of Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and up to a maximum value of £10. We regret that we will not be able to refund excessive postage costs (for example goods being sent by special delivery or by courier when this is not necessary).  If the postage costs are going to exceed £10 please contact us via email or telephone us for further help and information. Please also note that these terms and conditions may vary if customers have purchased via Amazon or Ebay and as such customers purchasing via these websites should check those terms and conditions separately.



If the deadline for reporting parcels damaged during delivery is not met unfortunately we will not be able to issue a refund or replacement goods. Different terms and conditions may apply to those customers who have purchased via Amazon or Ebay and the customer is advised if in doubt to refer to the appropriate website for clarification.


We will not confirm that we have received your return (Except Amazon & Ebay customers).  After receipt of your goods we aim to issue refunds within 14 working days. The cost of your gift will be refunded to the credit/debit card used to make the purchase. As we do not retain debit or credit card details we will contact you to obtain these in order to process the refund. After the refund has been made the details will be securely destroyed.  Please note refunds take 5 working days to clear from the point of processing.



If you wish to cancel an order please contact us via email or by telephone. If your goods have been despatched before cancellation you will be liable for the costs of returning the unwanted items.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights
